How Do I Get My Own Little Picture Next To Comments?

The little picture that appears with people's comments is called a Gravatar is a Globally Recognized Avatar. It is generated by Gravatar (not Mystic Medusa Astrology). If you don't have a Gravatar, you're auto-assigned a cute little random pic, usually a monster or an alien. However, getting a Gravatar is simple.

Step 1. First, choose an image. It can be you, your cat, an artistic statement - whatever you like outside of nudity or gore. For best results, ensure it is square and in size 424px by 424px. It will automatically size down to 60x60 for the comments, but start big, so it doesn't distort.

Step 2. Go to Gravatar.com and click on "Create your own Gravatar."

Step 3. If you don't already have a WordPress account, sign up. If you already have a WordPress account, you can log in by clicking on the link, "Already have a Wordpress.com account?"

Step 4. Once you've created your account or logged in, a new page will appear with a message “Whoops, it
looks like you don’t have any images yet!” Click the link to the right of that message to add your image.

When finished, the Gravatar will automatically load
with your comments on any Gravatar-enabled site where you are using the same email address.
